Stay off the grass...

Media people will appreciate this photo: it's the view from the press box at Lord's Cricket Ground.

The snazzy, state-of-the-art press box sits high in the sky (it had to be built high so it didn't cast a shadow over the ground) -- it is a slick white on the outside but is painted a soft sky blue on every surface on the inside, apparently so it blends in with its surroundings better and doesn't distract the fans from their beloved cricket.
We checked it out during a tour of the famous cricket ground, home of the Ashes, which took us into the members areas, the changerooms and into the stands of the main stadium. Of course we saw the Ashes too (sorry cricket lovers, no photos allowed!).

It turned out Abbey Road was just around the corner so we made an unexpected stop there, and Bryan couldn't help but cross the road a few times and write a message on concrete fan wall outside the recording studio made famous by The Beatles.

Oh, and there was this cafe nearby, too...
