A whole world of entertainment

We travelled the globe to visit some of the world's best known cities and landmarks. But we needn't have bothered -- we could have seen most of them in Vegas!

On The Strip we spotted the Trevi Fountain, the canals of Venice, the Eiffel Tower, New York's Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty -- just to name a few.

The exotic birds in the gardens of our hotel (The Flamingo) gave Vegas an even more global feel, and then there were the Lions at MGM Grand and the enormous snakes used by kooky-looking street performers to lure tourists.

And of course Vegas has plenty of interesting signs, shops and sex ads.

And plenty of celebrities too...

Oh and I can't forget to mention the famous (and very pretty) Bellagio Hotel with its stunning fountains.

From the colourful mix of people, the weird yet spectacular buildings, the plush hotel rooms, the elaborate shopping centres, and of course the plethora of pokies, Vegas truly is a world of its own.
